Miles Sanders Leads the Eagles Backfield but Doesn't Do Much
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders led the Eagles backfield in Week 11 but wasn't able to do much against an excellent New England Patriots Defense. Sanders was thrust into a bigger role with starter Jordan Howard (shoulder) inactive. Sanders ran the ball 11 times for 38 yards and added two catches on four targets for nine more yards. Sanders shared the backfield with Boston Scott and should return to his passing game role once Howard returns.
