Miles Sanders Leads Eagles In Carries Monday Night
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders took 17 carries for 80 yards, adding three receptions for six yards, against the Minnesota Vikings during the team's 24-7 victory on Monday night. The 25-year-old operated as the clear No. 1 option out of the backfield, with teammates Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott combining for six carries and two receptions on two targets. Sanders failed to reach the end zone, though, making his fantasy outing disappointing. However, the elite usage is a good sign for him being able to return value as a steady RB2 for fantasy managers moving forward. The fourth-year back will be a top-24 option next week against a Washington defense that has allowed an average of 117.5 rushing yards and 6.7 yards per carry to opposing running backs through the first two weeks.
