Miles Sanders Does Almost Nothing In Week 4
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies running back Miles Sanders had 10 touches in Week 4, which was a huge improvement compared to his Week 3 performance, but he was still an enormous disappointment. Sanders ran the ball seven times in Week 4, gaining just 13 yards. He was targeted three times in the passing game, catching all three for 34 yards. Sanders was thoroughly outplayed by rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell, who picked up 31 yards and a touchdown on just three carries and grabbed six passes on eight targets. It's been a rough start to the season for Sanders, who has yet to score a touchdown. A focus on the passing game and a struggling Eagles offensive line has knocked Sanders all the way down to an RB3 ranking for Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers.
