Miles Sanders And Boston Scott Could Split Touches This Season
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running backs Miles Sanders and Boston Scott could end up splitting touches almost evenly this season, according to Eagles beat writer Eliot Shorr-Parks. So far, through seven full practices, Sanders has 35 first-team touches to Scott's 29. The Eagles have repeatedly said that they don't expect to have a three-down back this season, so it makes sense that Sanders and Scott would share those duties, with rookie Kenneth Gainwell mixing in as third on the depth chart. Besides the expected decrease in usage, Sanders has some injury concerns as well, making him a very risky pick at his current ADP as an RB2. Scott, meanwhile, should shoot up draft boards but can still be had at a bargain in some drafts.
