1 day agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (illness) will play on Thursday versus the New York Knicks. He wasn't available for Tuesday's loss to the Hawks, allowing DaQuan Jeffries to slide into the starting lineup. He played well, amassing a team-high 19 points (tied) with five boards and two blocks. While Jeffries could see some work on Thursday night, he'll have a difficult time staying as productive with Bridges and LaMelo Ball (wrist) in the equation.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

2 days agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (rest) will not be in action on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks. He will sit out the game for rest purposes. It's a busy week for the Hornets, who begin a stretch of four games in six days Tuesday night. Nick Smith Jr. may return to the first unit against Atlanta, while Wendell Moore Jr. and Marcus Garrett (back) are also options to start in place of Bridges. Additionally, LaMelo Ball (wrist) and Mark Williams are expected to get more offensive touches.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (illness) will play in Monday's contest against the Golden State Warriors. The team has upgraded his status from probable to available. Bridges has been fighting an illness that may impact his performance on Monday, but he remains an appealing fantasy option. After a highly productive February, Bridges started March with an 18-7-7 line in Saturday's 113-100 loss to the Washington Wizards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 months agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (back) will rejoin the action on Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans. The 26-year-old is dealing with a back issue and didn't play on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Bridges is enjoying a strong month, having notched 20-plus points in six of eight games. He is in a great position to add to the streak on Saturday, as New Orleans has the third-worst defensive rating in the league. Bridges will reclaim his starting position from Cody Martin (core), who is unavailable on Saturday. Josh Okogie will log fewer minutes due to Bridges' return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 months agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (back) will not suit up on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has been ruled out for the game after being initially considered questionable. Bridges' exit from the lineup gives Cody Martin and Josh Okogie a chance to play expanded roles. Charlotte will also be without LaMelo Ball (wrist), leaving the team without two of its top three scorers. This will open up many additional scoring opportunities for the rest of the crew.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
