Miles Boykin Eyeing Starting Spot
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Miles Boykin is looking to jump a few spots on the depth chart before the start of the season. In last week's preseason game, the third-round draft pick caught four balls for 39 yards. According to Pro Football Focus, Boykin finished as the highest-rated offensive player of the game (83.1). Boykin is dangerous as a short- and long-yardage option and told NBC Sports Washington, "The coaches have faith in me, the quarterbacks have faith in me." The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Boykin's current ADP is 288, with receivers like Paul Richardson, Equanimeous St. Brown and Travis Benjamin being drafted around him. If Boykin can continue to be a reliable preseason option for Baltimore, he could slide into a starting role, which would boost his value as a deep WR3 option. If you're waiting to draft for season-long leagues, keep an eye on his use for the next couple weeks as he may turn into a viable late-round option on your bench. If you're drafting best-ball lineups now, his upside potential is looking promising.
