Mikko Rantanen Tallies Point No.60 On Thursday
14 seconds agoColorado Avalanche right wing Mikko Rantanen tallied a goal and an assist during Thursday's victory over the Minnesota Wild. Rantanen would score in the second period on a wrist shot. Later in the third, he would add the secondary assist on Nathan MacKinnon's 15th goal of the season. This was his 60th point of the season, which is currently the third-most among skaters. After being held off the scoresheet for the first time in 14 games on Wednesday, Rantanen returned to form with a two-point showing the next game. During this 16-game stretch, Rantanen has tallied 25 points (ten goals, 15 assists) while averaging 2.5 shots on goal per game and holding a +13 rating. Rantanen remains a must-start player in all formats and a safe lineup anchor in DFS.
