Mikko Rantanen Cleared To Play For Team Finland
20 seconds agoAccording to Elliotte Friedman of SportsNet, Carolina Hurricanes right wing Mikko Rantanen (lower body) will play for Team Finland in the 4 Nations Face-Off. The star forward was unable to play in Carolina's final game before the international break with this injury but has been cleared to play for Finland. Fantasy managers should monitor Rantanen's status before their opening game on Thursday against Team USA in case he faces a setback. Before the international break, Rantanen was traded from the Colorado Avalanche to Carolina in a blockbuster deal. Across his first six contests with his new club, the 28-year-old has tallied one goal and one assist. During his first 49 games of the season in Colorado, he tallied 64 points (25 goals and 39 helpers). On Thursday, Rantanen will be a top option for DFS as he should see top minutes in the Finland offense.
