Mikko Koskinen Stops 45 Shots In Win
5 years agoThe Edmonton Oilers received strong goaltending in a 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night. Mikko Koskinen stopped 45 of 46 shots and has now allowed just two goals over his past three appearances. He has a .917 SV% through 37 games this season. Connor McDavid scored a goal and is now up to 33 goals and 96 points through 63 games. Alex Chiasson scored his 10th goal of the season and also added an assist. Riley Sheahan broke a 12-game scoreless streak when he found the back of the net. Defenseman Caleb Jones also ended a lengthy scoreless streak with his first goal in 12 games. Gustav Nyquist scored the lone goal for Columbus. He’s found the back of the net in three straight games.
