6 years agoMinnesota Wild center Mikko Koivu netted his first goal of the season while posting an assist in Monday's 4-2 loss against the Nashville Predators. It was his first multi-point performance of the season, and his helper was the first point he registered on the man advantage through five outings. It's been a slow go for the 35-year-old Finnish veteran, and he has squeezed off one or no shots in four of his five contests so far, including Monday. As long as his ice time remains in the 20-22 minute range like it is right now, he'll likely get going. However, fantasy owners should temper expectations for the pivot who is entering the twilight of his career.--Daniel Dobish
