Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev had the game of his life Sunday against Washington, opening a 6-3 victory with a four-point first period. He became the first blue-liner in franchise history to rack up as many as four points in the first 20 minutes of action. With the effort, Sergachev also matched the NHL record for most points in any period by a defenseman. The 24-year-old posted two goals and two assists, grabbing half of the points with the man advantage. Sergachev is playing a much bigger role for Tampa this season and is on his way to having a career year. He hasn't yet managed more than 40 points in a single campaign but is already on 14 points with 15 games played in 2022-23.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
