Mike Trout Ramping Up Baseball Activities
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout (calf) ran the bases, participated in outfield drills, and took some batting swings Thursday. It's an encouraging sign as Trout continues to work his way back from a Grade 2 calf strain. He's been sidelined since mid May. The Angels haven't determined when Trout will go on a rehab assignment, but fantasy managers should continue to patiently wait for one of the best players in the game to return. Barring a setback, the 29-year-old could return by the end of July. Trout slashed an incredible .333/.466/.624 with eight home runs and a .291 ISO before landing on the injured list.
