Mike Trout Likely To Return Tuesday
2 years agoDespite the fact that Los Angeles Angels manager Phil Nevin isn't guaranteeing outfielder Mike Trout (wrist) will come off the injured list on Tuesday, it's still most likely that Trout will be back on Tuesday after the club already optioned outfielder Jordyn Adams to the minors on Sunday. The Angels plan to evaluate Trout before reinstating him on Tuesday. The start of the Angels series against the Cincinnati Reds on Monday was postponed due to inclement weather. The 32-year-old three-time MVP fractured the hamate bone in his left hand/wrist in early July, but he's already seen live pitching and should return any day now. Fantasy managers will want to get Trout back in their starting lineups immediately, and hopefully his hand/wrist injury won't affect his swing the rest of the way.
