Mike Tauchman Goes Yard In Victory
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman, who made the Yankees roster out of necessity due to injuries, made his presence felt Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox. The former member of the Colorado Rockies earned a start in left field and batted ninth. He would record two hits, first with an RBI double down the first base line. He later drilled a towering, three-run home run as the Yankees coasted to an 8-0 victory. The performance could result in additional playing time, if only due to the mounting injuries the club is currently suffering from.
