Mike Strachan's Time In Indy Could Be In Jeopardy
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Mike Strachan's time in Indy could be in jeopardy while not playing a big role on special teams in his first two NFL seasons. Strachan entered the league with high expectations. The 6-foot-5 seventh-round pick in 2021 made two catches in his NFL debut but has only made three since. He was inactive four times in 2022 and just hasn't been a factor in the passing attack. Keeping his spot on the active roster won't be easy. The Colts already have Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce and Ashton Dulin, and they also added speedy slot receiver Josh Downs in this year's draft. Isaiah McKenzie was brought in through free agency. Strachan will need to have a strong training camp and preseason in order to stick around in 2023.

Mike Strachan Could Play More In Week 2
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Mike Strachan could see an increased workload during their upcoming matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts are going to need all the help they can get with Michael Pittman Jr. (quad) sidelined. Last week, Strachan hauled in both of his targets for 36 yards in the tie with the Houston Texans. The expectation is that Strachan will see more targets without Pittman available. However, Parris Campbell is a much better option if fantasy managers are looking for streaming options. Strachan is a desperation deep league option for Week 2.

Mike Strachan Activated From PUP List
3 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts activated wide receiver Mike Strachan (knee) from the Physically Unable to Perform list on Monday. Strachan began training camp on the PUP list after having offseason knee surgery, but the Colts will now start working him into practices. In his rookie season, the seventh-round pick caught only two of his three targets for 26 yards in six games for Indy, but he'll be looking for a bigger role as a depth option for the Colts, behind the likes of Michael Pittman Jr., Parris Campbell and rookie Alec Pierce. Strachan will be competing with Dezmon Patmon and Ashton Dulin for the fourth receiver spot in Indy to begin the 2022 season.

Mike Strachan Likely To Return By End Of Training Camp
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Mike Strachan (knee) underwent knee surgery this summer. The expectation is that he will be able to return to the field by the end of training camp. The 24-year-old was a seventh round pick of the team in 2021. He only suited up for six games last year and caught two of his three targets for 26 yards. The Colts have one of the thinnest receiving corps in the NFL with very few enticing assets apart from No. 1 wideout Michael Pittman Jr. Strachan has an opportunity to see snaps this coming season if he can come back strong from his injury.

Mike Strachan Expected To Miss Start Of Camp
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Mike Strachan (undisclosed) is currently dealing with an unknown injury. As a result, he's expected to miss the start of camp while working his way back to full strength. The 24-year-old played sparingly in 2021, his rookie season, totaling just two catches for 26 yards. He will have work to do once he's ready to report. However, based on what Strachan does during camp, he has a chance to earn meaningful snaps in 2022-23, although currently, he is still far from being relevant on the fantasy end.
