6 years agoChicago Cubs starter Mike Montgomery is making his first start of the season on Monday in Pittsburgh, filling in for the injured Yu Darvish. Montgomery has had a rough start to 2018, but as a starter in his Cubs career, Montgomery has a 3.94 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 93.2 innings. On one hand, the Pirates have been slumping lately, scoring only 2.67 runs per game over their last 15 contests, and play in a pitcher friendly ballpark. On the other hand, the Cubs have to quickly turnaround from a night game Sunday to a day game Monday and lose an hour to the time-zone change, making Montgomery a risky streaming option.--Feldman Zach
