6 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Mike Montgomery has been placed on the injured list prior to Saturday’s game. There was no injury given as to what landed him there, but Montgomery has struggled with a 16.88 ERA in just 2 1/3 innings. Montgomery has been reliable over the past few years as a starter and reliever, but something hasn’t looked right so far in 2019.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
