Mike Minor Strikes Out Four At Triple-A Sunday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Mike Minor (shoulder) made his second rehab start at Triple-A Louisville on Sunday. He pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed three hits, one walk and two runs (one earned) while striking out four. He threw 60 pitches in the game with 41 of them winding up as strikes. Minor pitched three perfect innings in his first rehab outing, striking out four along the way. He now has a 1.69 ERA over 5 1/3 innings during his rehab stint. It's likely that he will receive one or two more rehab outings before making his 2022 debut for the Reds as he still needs to extend his pitch count.
