Mike Gesicki Pleased With Early-Season Role
6 years agoMiami Dolphins rookie tight end Mike Gesicki says that he is pleased with his role over the first two games of the season. The rookie has only one catch for 11 yards so far in the 2018 campaign but has proven himself as an excellent blocker. Ironically, Gesicki was a terrible blocker at Penn State last year. Regardless, Gesicki re-inventing himself as a blocker helps him to see more snaps. With more snaps, Gesicki could eventually see more targets and become a red-zone threat. Gesicki is a low-end play in all fantasy formats but could grow into more of a fantasy role later in the season.
