Mike Gesicki Likely Touchdown Dependent In Week 9
2 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki's Week 9 fantasy value could hinge on his ability to find the end zone. Although Gesicki is averaging 14.5 fantasy points over the last three weeks, he is largely touchdown-dependent. In fact, Gesicki has yet to amass more than 5.7 fantasy points during a game in which he does not catch a touchdown pass. To make matters worse, Chicago's defense has allowed 9.5 fantasy points and 0.2 touchdowns per game to tight ends this season, putting them in the top quartile of the league. Miami's wide receivers and running backs have much more favorable matchups, so look for them to be prioritized while Gesicki could disappoint. You can probably find a better tight end to plug into your lineups this week.
