Mike Gesicki Lacks Fantasy Appeal In Week 10
2 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki produced quite different results between 2021 and 2022. Last year's TE9, Gesicki has proven to be enormously touchdown dependent this season. In fact, he has failed to amass more than 5.7 fantasy points during each of the six games in which he has not catch a touchdown pass. This might not be awful news if the Dolphins' opponent, the Cleveland Browns, struggled against tight ends. However, they have allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to tight ends, as well as the absolute fewest fantasy points to tight ends in the red zone. With Gesicki's red zone productivity expected to be hindered by the Cleveland secondary, fantasy managers should view the 27-year-old as nothing more than a low-end TE2 in Week 10.
