Mike Gesicki Activated Off Reserve-COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins activated tight end Mike Gesicki off of the reserve-COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Gesicki was placed on the reserve-COVID-19 list on August 1 after testing positive for COVID-19. He followed protocols and received a negative COVID-19 test before his activation on Tuesday. Gesicki caught 53 passes for 703 yards and six touchdowns in 2020. He should play a key role for the offense once again this year. The Dolphins' offense should be improved in 2021 with Tua Tagovailoa going into his second year and with the offseason additions of wide receivers William Fuller V and Jaylen Waddle. Gesicki is a fine target as a low-end TE1 in the mid-to-late rounds of drafts.
