Mike Evans Salvages Day With Long Touchdown
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans struggled against the coverage of Marshon Lattimore but managed to break free for a long touchdown in Sunday's defeat to New Orleans. Evans had just one reception for seven yards against old nemesis Lattimore but beat the star corner deep for a 41-yard touchdown reception from Tom Brady. Evans and Brady have a knack for finding the end zone, as the two have connected on 20 touchdowns since the signal-caller came to Tampa Bay. The star receiver ranks first on the team in targets and touchdown receptions and seems well on his way to his eighth straight 1,000-yard campaign heading into the bye week.
