Mike Evans Could Take A Step Back
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had a record-setting game last week against the Giants Defense. He manhandled eight receptions for 190 yards and three touchdowns. This was his highly anticipated breakout game after lackluster performances the previous two weeks. It's difficult to imagine this kind of production happening in back-to-back games since the Rams Defense will certainly be told to keep him in check. However, with Chris Godwin and Breshad Perriman being questionable and the Bucs likely being in catch-up mode the whole game, he could see enough targets to have another decent outing. This could also mean more work for tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate. Evans will be a low-end WR1 due to the Rams defense game-planning against him.
