6 years agoColorado Rockies relief pitcher Mike Dunn is scheduled to receive a platelet-rich injection on Thursday in hopes of helping his inflamed AC joint. The injury was suffered almost immediately upon his return from the disabled list in late June, and he told reporters that the injection is really the best bet for him to get the opportunity to pitch again this season. Dunn has been one of a host of disappointments in Colorado's bullpen this season, though his issues have been more injury-related than most. A fantasy owner would need to be truly desperate to take a flier on a member of the Rockies bullpen suffering from a shoulder injury.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
