Mike Davis Puts Up 79 Scoreless Scrimmage Yards
4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Mike Davis handled 18 total touches, producing 79 scrimmage yards in a narrow loss to the Vikings. This was likely Davis' last game as the Panthers lead back- and it was a disappointing one. The veteran back averaged just 3.7 yards per carry as he failed to find much running room against a beatable Vikings Defense, though the day was at least somewhat respectable in PPR formats. It might be worth holding onto Davis, particularly for fantasy managers who have Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) rostered, just in case the latter is more injured than the team is letting on. Still, McCaffrey should be back in the lineup following the team's Week 13 bye, returning Davis to his role as the second back.
