Mike Davis Leads Team In Rushing
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Mike Davis carried the ball 12 times for 50 rushing yards and caught all four targets for 20 receiving yards in Sunday's win over the Giants. Davis ended up playing about 60 percent of the snaps compared to Cordarrelle Patterson's 40 percent, with Davis totaling 16 touches to Patterson's 13. Davis has now averaged 4.2 yards per carry in back-to-back weeks, though his inability to find the end zone through three weeks is disappointing for fantasy managers. The veteran runner is seeing enough volume to be successful but will need to score more touchdowns- something that could be difficult in a subpar Falcons offense. A tough Week 4 test against the Washington Football Team defense awaits in Week 4.
