6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley scored a game-high 21 points on Saturday against the Spurs, but it wasn't enough to pull out a win. Memphis lost by 20 points, with most of the team struggling. Marc Gasol had just six points, while Justin Holiday finished his team debut with two points on 1-for-7 shooting. Conley had a horrible performance this week against the Pistons when he failed to score any points, but he's combined 52 points in the next two outings. He'll be in a prime position to have another good scoring night on Monday when the Grizzlies have a pace-up spot against New Orleans.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley (finger) will be active on Friday against the Houston Rockets. He is ready to return from a four-game absence after the team initially labeled Conley as questionable for Friday's contest. Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely return to the bench now that Conley is back. Meanwhile, Rob Dillingham will also have a reduced role in the rotation. Conley has been relatively quiet for most of the season, but he had a solid stretch of games just before his injury, averaging 11.3 points and 7.0 assists in 28.8 minutes over four games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley (finger) is questionable for Friday's contest against Houston. The veteran has been sidelined by a finger injury of late, keeping him off the floor for Minnesota's final four games heading into the All-Star break. If he remains on the shelf versus the Rockets, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely continue to operate at the one. But if Anthony Edwards (hip) is also ruled out, Rob Dillingham and Jaylen Clark may also seen extra work.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley (finger) will remain in street clothes for Thursday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has been ruled out for a fourth consecutive game after Minnesota initially listed Conley as questionable on the injury report. Conley's injury has increased the fantasy values of Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham. Both players may get an additional boost on Thursday due to Anthony Edwards' (hip) absence. Minnesota's star man is considered a game-time decision for the matchup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley (finger) is part of a lengthy injury report for the Timberwolves as they head into Thursday's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Anthony Edwards (hip) and Rudy Gobert (back) join Conley as questionable, and Minnesota may just let the young guys carry the load as they head into the All-Star break. Conley has missed the last three games with a sprained right index finger, and while he has been out, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham have been productive in the backcourt. Both NAW and Dillingham have huge upside as streaming and DFS plays if Conley remains out and Edwards also gets the night off.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller
