Ottawa Senators goaltender Mike Condon recorded just his fifth win of the season on Tuesday night, making 42 saves in Ottawa’s 7-4 triumph over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Condon did his best to resist the powerful Lightning offense but allowed four goals in the match. Ottawa has struggled this season, winning only 25 of their 69 games played, but have shown hope for the future with a strong win against the Florida Panthers on Monday and this offensive win over the Lightning. Ottawa will seek to continue their winning ways when they play again on Friday against the Dallas Stars and then again on Saturday versus the Columbus Blue Jackets. Condon should start one of the two games in the back-to-back set.--Alex McKenzie
