Mike Clevinger Will Throw Bullpen Session Monday
5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (knee) will throw his first bullpen session Monday after having surgery to repair his partially torn meniscus on Feb. 14, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports. He bumped up his rehab last week, throwing from flat ground at 150 feet. This is the next step for Clevinger, who hopes to come out of Monday's session feeling no ill-effects. The right-hander will likely make his 2020 debut in mid-to-late April if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Clevinger has plenty of upside, but he's also a potential bust candidate as a high-end SP2 for fantasy owners due to lingering injury concerns.
