Mike Clevinger Shut Down for At Least Two Months
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (back) will be shut down for at least two months, according to manager Terry Francona. Francona said it will be six to eight weeks before Clevinger is even able to pick up a baseball. Clevinger has blossomed into one of the best pitchers in the American League, so this is absolutely devastating news for both Cleveland and all of Clevinger's fantasy owners. He's absolutely worth stashing on the injured list, but he looks so much better in the starting rotation.
