Mike Brosseau Goes Deep In Monday’s Win
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays' second baseman Mike Brosseau went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Monday's 9-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles. The Rays tied a season-high record in home runs in a game with five long balls in Monday's win. He joined the Rays home run party by crushing a solo shot to center fielder in the seventh inning to extend the Rays lead 9-1. The 27-year-old was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Sunday and has started for the Rays in back-to-back games. He is hitting .286 (2-for-7) with a double and homer during that span. Brosseau is slashing .187/.266/.347 with five homers, 18 RBI, 21 runs scored, and two stolen bases over 57 games in 2021. The Rays' second baseman is not on the fantasy radar this season and can be left on the waiver wire in most league formats.
