Mika Zibanejad Notches Two-Point Effort
6 years agoNew York Rangers center Mika Zibanejad scored a goal and added a power-play assist during a 4-3 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night. Zibanejad has two goals and two assists through seven games this season. The Rangers are likely going to be one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league this year, but any time they do produce, Zibanejad will be the probable source. He is the team's top center and quarterbacks the first power-play unit alongside Kevin Shattenkirk. He should come close to surpassing the career-high 51 points he put up in 2015-16.
