2 days agoChicago White Sox third baseman Miguel Vargas had an excellent game on Thursday to kick off the 2025 regular season. He went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels. What is most encouraging for fantasy managers is that he was slotted in the leadoff spot in the batting order and had a successful audition in this contest, which will help keep him in that role moving forward. With Luis Robert Jr. batting behind him in the two spot in the order, Vargas will have plenty of opportunities to score runs should he stay at the top of the order. The White Sox are off on Friday, but Vargas will look to stay hot in this series once they are back in action to finish the three-game series with the Angels on Saturday and Sunday.--Nicho Roessler - RotoBaller
