Miguel Sano Lacks Relevant September Production
4 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Miguel Sano has made a reputation as a boom-or-bust DFS asset, which has been extenuated by his major league-leading 23.4% barrel rate and 95.4-mph average exit velocity, as well as his 43.7% strikeout rate. But as it's likely to happen with a slugger boasting those metrics, Sano has gone ice-cold as of late, striking out in 13 of his last 28-bats with just three hits in his last seven games and nine in his last 15. Season-long fantasy managers that account for strikeouts find it tough to roster a player like Sano, yet he continues to hold sizable GPP upside both over the final weekend of the season and during the playoffs due to his immense power potential.
