Miguel Sano Drives In Two Friday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano drove in a pair of runs in a losing effort to the Rays Friday. Sano collected a pair of RBI singles, driving in a run for the fourth time in his last five games. The slugger was stuck in a slump to start August but has picked things up considerably, going 5-for-15 with two home runs, six RBI, and three runs scored. His plate discipline has been much better recently, as evidenced by his 21.1 percent walk rate compared to a 15.8 percent strikeout rate. Sano has compiled a 96.8 MPH average exit velocity and 58.3 percent hard-hit rate during this stretch, numbers that should continue to lead to strong fantasy results.
