Miguel Sano Crushes Mammoth Homer
3 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano belted an absolute moonshot of a home run in Wednesday's victory over Boston. Sano got every bit of a Nick Pivetta hanging slider, sending the ball a whopping 495 feet into left-center field at 116.7 MPH. It's the longest recorded home run ball in the majors this season. That's the kind of raw power Sano possesses, which has been on full display during his four-game hitting streak, a stretch that includes three homers, a double, and eight RBI. He's a legitimate option for category league managers in need of a power bat down the stretch.
