Miguel Rojas Goes Hitless On Thursday
6 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas filled in for outfielder Curtis Granderson (rest) by batting leadoff in the 4-1 loss to the Cubs but was unable to capitalize by going hitless in four plate appearances. He will have a chance to turn it around on Friday when the Marlins head to Citi Field to take on Zack Wheeler and the Mets. The 30-year-old has fared well against Wheeler, compiling four RBI, three hits, and two homers with only one strikeout in nine plate appearances against the righty this season.
