Miguel Rojas Exits On Sunday With Neck Tightness
2 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas (neck) was removed from Sunday's game against the New York Mets due to neck tightness. Outfielder Luke Williams entered the game in the bottom of the sixth inning to replace him and the team shifted its defensive arrangement to account for Rojas's departure. Rojas has been dealing with neck issues for over a week now, but he's been mostly playing through the ailment. He's been hitting the ball well lately, slashing .310/.364/.448 with four doubles in July. The 33-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now.
