Miguel Castro Notches Fourth Save
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks reliever Miguel Castro allowed one walk while striking out three to pick up the save in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. He entered the ninth inning to protect a one-run lead. The 28-year-old issued a leadoff walk but later struck out the side to earn his fourth save of the season. He owns a 2.61 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and a 19:7 K: BB across 20 2/3 innings in 2023. Castro is in the mix for saves for the Diamondbacks and has now collected two saves and a win over his last four appearances. Fantasy managers searching for saves should look to add Castro in all leagues.
