Miguel Cabrera's Knee Issue Isn't Going Away
5 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (knee) has a chronic knee issue that will bother him all season. It was determined that surgery was not an option for now. If Cabrera had surgery now, he'd likely need to miss the rest of the season. The good news is he returned to the starting lineup on Tuesday, but the bad news is fantasy owners shouldn't bank on Miggy's power returning anytime soon now that he's dealing with a chronic knee issue. He came into the game Tuesday hitting .284/.356/.356 on the year. He's still hitting for average and getting on base, but not much else. There's very little upside left for the future Hall of Famer.
