Miguel Cabrera Homers Twice In Thursday's Win
3 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera helped lead the team to a 6-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. He went 3-for-3 with a walk and a pair of solo home runs in the game. He now has 10 home runs over 80 games on the year. Cabrera hasn't been providing much in terms of power this year. His current .408 xSLG is a career-low mark and it ranks in the 44th percentile of the league. He also ranks in the 22nd percentile in xBA (.229) and in the 29th percentile in xwOBA (.306). He's currently riding a five-game hitting streak that has risen his season-long batting average from .233 to .247. He may be turning a bit of a corner, but he can remain on waivers in all fantasy leagues at this point.
