6 years agoMiguel Andujar's worst fears have been realized as the 24-year-old will indeed undergo surgery to repair the torn labrum in his right shoulder. His estimated time of recovery is four to six months, likely meaning he will not return this year. When Andujar originally went down with the injury, at the beginning of April, it appeared to be another major blow to the Yankees. While it was yet another in a long list of injuries, the club has found Giovanny Urshela as a replacement and the Colombian has been much better than anticipated. For Andujar, focusing on a return next year is the best thing to do.--RDelgado
