Micker Adolfo Done For The Season
6 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Micker Adolfo (elbow), the team's No. 8 prospect per MLB Pipeline, will need arthroscopic elbow surgery that will knock him out for the rest of the 2019 season. Adolfo also had Tommy John surgery in 2018. General manager Rick Hahn said the team expects Adolfo to be without restrictions in spring training next year. He has a strong bat and the best outfield arm in Chicago's system, but he's now been robbed of developmental time the last two years. Adolfo has played in just 102 games in the last two seasons at High-A Winston-Salem and Double-A Birmingham. He's just one to watch in dynasty leagues for now.
