Michael Thomas Elite Against Bears
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas caught nine of 11 targets for 131 receiving yards against the Chicago Bears. The fourth-year veteran was unguardable in this game, at times catching passes with three or four defenders in his vicinity. Thomas was a featured part of the offense with starting running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) and starting tight end Jared Cook (ankle) unable to play. Games like these demonstrate Thomas' sky-high fantasy floor, as he failed to find the end zone yet racked up catches and yards. The 26-year-old will look to continue his excellent season in Week 8 against an Arizona Cardinals Defense that just returned star cornerback Patrick Peterson. Thomas is still a must-start in all formats, despite the tough matchup.
