Michael A. Taylor Still Out With Soreness
7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Michael A. Taylor (side) is still not playing games due to right side soreness. He woke up that way on Monday and notified the Nats, who kept him out of Monday's game. While the club doesn't think the injury is serious, Taylor did miss a month last season with an oblique strain. He was penciled in as the club's starting center fielder, and Brian Goodwin is playing that position in Tuesday's game. Goodwin, along with Howie Kendrick and Wilmer Difo, will get some time in the outfield while Taylor recovers. Taylor had a breakout season last year and is a sneaky sleeper pick in the late rounds.
