6 years agoThe Detroit Lions placed tight end Michael Roberts (shoulder) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, officially ending his season. Tight end Jerome Cunningham was signed off the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move. Roberts had a stretch of three touchdowns in two games earlier this year as a red-zone weapon for quarterback Matthew Stafford, but it didn't last. He finishes the year with only nine catches on 20 targets for 100 yards and three scores. Luke Willson will continue to serve as the pass-catching tight end, but he's a low-end TE2 for fantasy, even with Detroit's offense running dangerously thin on playmakers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
