6 years agoDetroit Lions tight end Michael Roberts hauled in all three of his targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's victory over Miami. The two scores were the only passing touchdowns that Detroit recorded on the day, and it marks Roberts' third of the season. After scoring his first career touchdown in Week 2, the former fourth-round pick had missed the past three games due to a knee injury. After being listed as third on the depth chart for this week, it's clear the Dolphins were busy focusing on the Lions' robust receiving corps and forgot about Roberts. While this is likely a career day for Roberts, it doesn't shed anymore light on whether the Lions intend to use their tight ends more.
