6 years agoDetroit Lions tight end Michael Roberts caught his first career touchdown on Sunday against the 49ers. It was Roberts' only target of the day, but the score came on a 15-yard pass, pulling the Lions within three at 30-27 in the final minutes of the game. Luke Willson was the only other tight end to catch a pass in the game, a 13-yard reception. Through two games this season, Matthew Stafford has only targeted a tight end six times over 99 pass attempts. Due to this lack of usage, none of the Lions four tight ends warrant any consideration.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
