Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen has received a two-game suspension from the NHL. He is getting punished for high-sticking Boston's David Krejci in Thursday's 5-1 loss. Krejci was forced to leave the game after Rasmussen hit him in the head with his stick. The Red Wings are losing a player who has been very effective in pretty limited minutes this season, with Rasmussen having notched five points while averaging only 13:45 of ice time. He will be eligible to return to action next Thursday against Washington. With Oskar Sundqvist (upper body) having picked up an injury this week, the Red Wings attack will look a lot different in the next couple of games and there could be some short-term options emerging for fantasy managers.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
